The celebrations of the 31st night and the New Year in Colombo

The New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Galle Face Green, which Sri Lanka Tourism is planning in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Lands, are going to be an absolutely magnificent evening and an occasion that people will remember all year long.
Sri Lanka Tourism has already made all of the necessary preparations to host the musical event of the year, titled “Ayubowan 2024.” This event will feature Flashback, one of the most prominent music groups in Sri Lanka. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable musical experience with the likes of well-known musicians such as BNS, Jayasri, Romesh Sugathapala, Sanka Dineth, Sashika Nisansala, Ruwan Hettiarachchi, Amal Perera, Lahiru Perera, Amila Nadeeshani, Kanchana Anuradhi, Shanika Wanigaskera, Wasthi, Senanayake Weraliyadda, Dhanapala Udawatta, Namal Udugama, Dimanka Wellalage, and many others. The purpose of this event is to provide all Sri Lankans with a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration.
There will be a live broadcast of the event that will be shown on Siyatha TV, which is the media partner for the event.
The streets of Colombo have been lit up and adorned to match the Christmas cheer, and the city has been transformed into a festive paradise. At the moment, procedures are being carried out in order to make this the most prominent seasonal treat.
With New Year’s Eve dinners that are packed with excitement and include entertainment and magnificent cuisine, the biggest hotels in Colombo are preparing for the New Year with their fair share of surprises.
